The Lethbridge Community Foundation and conference organizing committee were pleased to sponsor the 3rd annual Buck Starts Here : Funding opportunities for your organization, November 5th & 6th at the Lethbridge Coast Hotel & Conference Center.  185 delegates and 15 funder organizations attended the 3rd annual Buck Starts Here Conference in Lethbridge.
This conference provides a unique 'in-the-round' physical setup that encourages interaction between funders and delegates - exhibits, networking, presentations and eating all happens together.

The Lethbridge Community Foundation's primary role is to support non-profit organizations in south west Alberta.  In addition to providing grants, the foundation initiated the Buck Starts Here in 2007 to connect non-profit organization with funders and other support services.  The conference is a volunteer effort of the community and is only possible through the support of volunteers with the organizing committee.  The Buck Starts Here concept was greatly expanded this year and it was a learning experience.  Your feedback, input and advice is welcomed and will help us produce the Buck Starts Here 2010.
